Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption. This role requires a compassionate approach to sensitive family issues while providing expert legal guidance to clients.
Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody disputes, and adoption procedures.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to family law issues.
- Draft and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements between parties in family law matters.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with family law regulations.
- Prepare and present cases in court as necessary, advocating for the best interests of clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law legislation and case law developments.
Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law practice.
- Strong understanding of family law topics including divorce, child custody, and adoption.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and emotional issues with compassion and professionalism.
