Mailroom Associate

EXL Health is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Mailroom Associate to join our on-site team in the Pittsburgh (Robinson) area. This is a perfect fit for someone seeking an entry-level role where organization, reliability, and hands-on work truly make a difference.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll help keep our daily operations running smoothly by handling mail and incoming documents. Your responsibilities include:

• Opening, sorting, scanning, and organizing incoming mail
• Processing incoming documents, including checks and forms
• Printing, preparing, and posting outgoing documents and correspondence
• Logging and tracking mail volume and productivity
• Routing digital and physical files to the right internal teams
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all items are processed in a timely manner
• Using office equipment such as scanners, printers, and computer systems

This role is active and hands-on perfect for someone who likes to stay busy and organized.

Qualifications

No specialized insurance or payment integrity experience required. We're looking for someone who:

• Is organized and detail-oriented
• Learns quickly and follows established processes
• Communicates clearly and professionally
• Can transition smoothly between different tasks
• Is comfortable using basic computer programs (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Is able to work both independently and with a team

Physical Requirements

• Standing or sitting for extended periods
• Bending, turning, lifting, and moving boxes or stacks of documents
• Lifting up to 40 lbs as needed

These tasks are typical for mailroom and document-processing work.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
