Parkland Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to improving patient health and wellness, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, working closely with cardiologists, technologists, and the broader care team. You will be responsible for pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient assessment and monitoring, administering medications, managing moderate sedation according to established protocols, and ensuring that all safety and infection control standards are strictly followed. The Cath Lab RN will circulate and, when applicable, assist with scrubbing during procedures, anticipate provider and patient needs, and respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition, including emergency situations. You will coordinate patient education regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and ongoing cardiovascular care, maintaining clear, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
