We are seeking applications for the role of Section Chief of Hematology-Oncology from skilled hematologist oncologists for a full-time clinical position within a prominent academic VA setting in New England. The ideal candidate will deliver expert evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management of hematology and oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Responsibilities will include comprehensive clinical assessments, interpretation of diagnostic tests, palliative care consultations, therapeutic phlebotomy, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, serial tumor evaluations, and the selection and administration of chemotherapy across various modalities.
Clinical Settings:Clinical privileges will be granted at our organization, including associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), based on adequate staffing and the availability of necessary equipment. Telemedicine and E-Consult services are accessible to all Credentialed and Privileged Licensed Independent Practitioners.
Core Clinical Responsibilities:Full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
