We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer specializing in end-to-end test automation with expertise in Cypress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for end-to-end testing.
   • Implement best practices for test automation and ensure the scalability and maintainability of test scripts.
2. Test Strategy and Planning:
   • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA team members to define test strategies and plans.
   • Identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans for new features and enhancements.
3. Execution and Reporting:
   • Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
   • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting test coverage and quality trends.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and Cypress.
   • Continuously improve test automation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation into the development process.
   • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment on quality goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer, with a focus on end-to-end testing.
• Expertise in Cypress and other test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into the build process.
• Familiarity with other testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Jest, or Mocha.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
