IEP Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support the delivery of high‑quality speech and language services to students in school settings. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), provide direct and indirect therapy services, and support students in achieving their communication and educational goals. You will assist with conducting informal observations and screenings as directed, follow treatment plans using evidence‑based interventions, and document student progress in accordance with school and district requirements. Collaboration is central to this position; you will regularly communicate with supervising SLPs, special education staff, classroom teachers, and families to reinforce therapy strategies within the classroom and at home. You will help prepare and organize therapy materials, maintain accurate records and service logs, and contribute input to progress reports and IEP meetings as requested by the supervising SLP. In alignment with IEP Therapy’s supportive and collaborative culture, you will participate in ongoing professional development, utilize provided resources and tools for continuing education, and actively engage in feedback and coaching to grow your clinical skills. The role requires strong organizational abilities, clear professional communication, and a genuine commitment to personalized care for diverse student populations, including those with speech sound disorders, language impairments, fluency disorders, and social communication needs. As part of the Healthcare & Medical Services team within the Education & Training environment, you will travel between assigned school sites as needed, adhere to ethical and legal standards of school‑based practice, maintain student confidentiality, and support a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
