Traveling Journeyman Electrician - Dallas

Traveling Journeyman Electrician to support the construction and commissioning of a data center facility in the North Central Texas area.

Traveling Journeyman Electrician - Dallas Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $47.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• POSITION IS LOCATED IN THE NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS AREA.
• Install, terminate, and test electrical systems including power distribution units (PDUs), switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and backup generators
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings specific to data center construction
• Perform conduit bending, cable tray installation, and wire pulling for large-scale systems
• Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on-site to meet deadlines
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical components
• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including inspections and test results
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures

Traveling Journeyman Electrician - Dallas Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (state-specific)
• 3–5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Experience working on mission-critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, etc.) preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems up to medium voltage
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes
